About Brenda Siegfried
Sales Manager at Cowboy Collectibles
A Legacy Rooted in Western Heritage & a Trailblazer in Western Commerce
Brenda’s journey is deeply entwined with the western way of life, a legacy that goes back to her grandparents who homesteaded on a ranch in southeastern Wyoming. Despite Brenda’s upbringing as a military brat, which took her to various locales, her heart always found solace in the ideals of rural living, the majesty of horses, and the close-knit community spirit of small towns.
Brenda’s adventure with Cowboy Collectibles Inc. began in the summer of 2004, marking the start of an innovative chapter in the way horsehair products were marketed and represented. Pioneering a unique sales approach through phone and email, she bridged the gap between a traditional sales rep and technology from her home office, situated 500 miles from the heart of Cowboy Collectibles. This remote work arrangement was revolutionary at the time and provided Brenda the flexibility to nurture her family, embedding the values of western lifestyle in her children’s upbringing.
Since 1995, Brenda’s involvement with WESA-Western English Sales Association has been a cornerstone of her career, showcasing her dedication to the western industry for nearly three decades. Her innovative booth designs have been recognized with eight “Best in Show” awards at the WESA Trade Shows.
Her heart lies in product development and fostering enduring relationships with store buyers—many of whom have become lifelong friends over the past 20 years. This path has allowed Brenda to travel, meet new people from all over the world and promote the western lifestyle.
Today, Brenda’s two daughters and granddaughters share her passion for horses. They have four amazing horses at home; Old man Denny, her riding Paint Horse. Checkers, the grey mare, Paige and the yearling Wyatt. Brenda also enjoys walking her Aussie, Annie O, along with gardening, camping and kayaking. These activities reflect her love for the outdoors and the simple pleasures of life.
Brenda’s advocacy for horsehair products is more than just professional—it’s a reflection of her life’s story. In every strand of horsehair, she sees the legacy of the western spirit—a legacy she is committed to preserving and promoting through her work at Cowboy Collectibles.
